How do I sign up for a race?
Under the section “Sparta’s races”, you can read about Sparta’s running events and sign up. You can also go directly to the registration form at sparta.dk/en/run_page
If you only want to register yourself, choose “Enter yourself, friends or family”. If you are a group, choose “Join a team”.
When will I receive my bib number?
Bib numbers will be sent by mail (with the exception of Copenhagen Half Marathon, Telenor Copenhagen Marathon, and the CPH 10K-weekend).
If you have not received your bib number when the race day approaches, you can pick it up on the race day at the enquiry desk.
How do I pick up my bib number?
If you pick up your bib number on the race day, you need to show the start-card sent to you by e-mail. You may choose to show a printed version or the e-mail on your phone.
If you have signed up for Telenor Copenhagen Marathon using the student discount, remember to bring a valid student ID card.
When is the deadline for the sign up?
Usually, the online registration will close a few hours before the start. After that, it is possible to sign up at the starting line with an additional fee of DKK 20.
However, the online registration for Telenor Copenhagen Marathon, Copenhagen Half Marathon and the CPH 10K-races closes when the Expo opens.
Can I change my order?
It is possible to change some information in your registration like your e-mail address. You can do this by choosing the selected race from this list sparta.dk/en/run_page and then press “change your Entry”. Please note that a name change comes at a fee.

If an event is sold out the registration will be closed.
Is it possible to withdraw my payment after the sign up?
According to the terms and conditions of your purchase, there is no right of cancellation.

Participating in Sparta's events
Can you store your baggage at our events?
There are baggage storage areas at all of Sparta’s running events. The baggage is monitored but the organizers are not responsible for theft.
Are there hydration and nutrition stations at Sparta’s events?
At all of Sparta’s running events, there are hydration stations at the finish line and a small snack. On longer distances, there are several hydration and nutrition stations along the course and at the finish line.
Do Sparta’s events have nutrition stations?
A small snack will be provided at the finish at all of Sparta’s events. The amount and type of snack differs from each event.
Am I allowed to run with headphones?
We advise against running with headphones at our events due to safety reasons and because it can be difficult to hear warnings from fellow runners. Furthermore, it would be a shame to miss out on the fantastic atmosphere created by the spectators.
I can’t find my name in the results list. What do I do?
If you cannot find your name in the results list or if the information is incorrect, please contact [email protected]
Can someone else use my bib number?
Using someone else’s bib number is not allowed as it may complicate time keeping and the results list. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification.
Instead, a name change can be done by logging into your order. Please note that changing a name comes at a fee.
Am I allowed to run with a baby jogger or other special equipment?
Blind or otherwise physically impaired persons are allowed entry provided they show due consideration to fellow runners. Special equipment, such as handchairs, wheelchairs and babyjoggers, are allowed only by previous agreement with the organisers.
Baby joggers are not allowed at the DHL Stafetten relay.
In which age group do I belong?
Your class determines your age group.
Therefore, if you are born on 31 December 2000, you are registered as a 16-year-old.

Where do I buy the club’s running clothes?
All Sparta members buy their clothes at Sparta’s Race Office. The club’s running clothes can be bought in office opening hours at:

How do I become a member of Sparta?
