Event to follow
Gather friends and family for the final highlight of the year, the festive New Year’s run on December 31.
Start and finish is at Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, DK-2100 Copenhagen, and with distances from 2 km to half marathon runners of all ages can participate. All courses run through Fælledparken on Østerbro. These are the distances and starting times:
Parents are more than welcome to run along with their children, however, all participants must be signed up for whatever distance they’ll be running.
After the race, we serve sparkling wine and traditional Danish New Year’s cake and lemonade and snacks for the children🥂🍾
Don’t forget a costume or a New Year’s hat! There will be prizes for the best and funniest costumes 🎉
There is a limit of 7,000 participants! We expect the race to sell out before race day.
The courses are certified by the Danish Athletics Federation, and there will be hydration stations along the course serving water and High5 energy drink.

Online entry is open as long as bib numbers are available.
Bib numbers can be collected during the days leading up to the race or on race day in the starting area from 8:00 am. More information about bib pick-up and other practical details will be available in due time.
There will be changing facilities, showers and baggage storage available in Idrætshuset, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 7.
