Welcome to Copenhagen

In Copenhagen and the atmospheric Østerbro you will experience the buzzing capital that mixes royal history, modern architecture and loads of culture with sustainable living and a nice atmosphere.

Welcome to Copenhagen and Østerbro Stadium.

The Track has 8 lanes of Polytan Tartan and the following facilities for jumps and throws:

  • 1 High Jump
  • 2 Pole Vault
  • 2 Long Jump
  • 1 Shot Put
  • 1 Discus/Hammer
  • 2 Javelin

The warm up area will consist of 4 tracks (200m circular) outdoors, an indoor track facility and a throwing area.

Travel 🛩️

Arrival and Departure by air: Copenhagen Airport has a metro that will easily lead you to Østerbro Stadium (Metro St. Trianglen or Poul Henningsens Plads) or to the accommodation (Metro St. Orientkaj). You will be provided metro tickets upon arrival and assisted to the metro.

Accommodation 🏨

Accommodation will be at Hotel Comwell, Copenhagen Portside, 1.8km from the arena.

Meals 🥙

Breakfast and dinner will be served at the hotel. Lunch will be served close to Østerbro Stadium.

Transportation: Hotel – arena 🚌

There will be bus transportation to the Stadium for visit and training Friday afternoon at 5:00 PM and shuttles for competition Saturday and Sunday.

Walking distance is 1.8km.

Transportation with metro is also possible (M4: Orientkaj to Østerport, change to M3: Østerport to Trianglen)

General information

  • 2500 DKK per team member which includes:

    • Two nights in double room
    • 2 x breakfast — Saturday and Sunday
    • 2 x lunch — Saturday and Sunday
    • 2 x dinner — Friday and Saturday

    Transportation to and from Copenhagen Airport and between the hotel and the arena.

    Single rooms can be arranged for 3050 DKK.

  • Will be held at Østerbro Stadium friday at 7:00 PM. There will be a pick up at the hotel for the Team Leaders at 6:45 PM. Each country may attend the meeting with 1-2 persons.
